Spring 2007 Colors

Transitioning a Winter into Spring- 2007 Colors  by Charli Mace

This fall to winter season will reflect a traditional theme.
Hot Winter Hues:

  • We are finding browns that are deep and cinnamon in color.

  • Muted shades will be of golden ochre, topaz and amber.

  • Mineral red, copper and gold are show stoppers.

  • Cooler colors will be touted as dusty colors.

  • Grays, blues and teals will have a steely edge to them.

  • Purple will be deep and passionate.

  • Pink will stay on the scene as wine and raspberry colors.

  • Jewelry will be full of metallic's.

As spring 2007 approaches, we will still find cooler colors.  They will be dusty and muted (good news for the Sapphire Gems!).

  • Raspberry colors will turn to lighter strawberry and even a boudoir pink will smile on us.

  • Lemon yellows will peek at us with mint green and aqua blues.

  • Navy and lapis will remain true blue friends.

  • Lots of icy, vivid diamond colors will be the jewels to traditional black and white.

The fashion designers have finally offered up a broad color palette that will offer wonderful shopping opportunities for all of us precious Gems.  I am so glad that I will have fashion choices that will look great on me. I am sure you are too!

Colorfully,

Charli
